Defect vision
Streaks, hickeys, voids and misregister caught at full press speed.
Printing · Chromata
Autonomous registration, brand-color & print-defect control.
Once board is made it must be printed by flexo, litho-lam or digital, where registration must hold within a fraction of a millimeter and color must match brand standards exactly. Registration drifts, plates and anilox wear, inks and substrates shift, and humidity moves everything.
The solution
High-speed edge vision plus inline spectrophotometry detects misregistration, color deviation (ΔE to brand), streaks, hickeys, doctor-blade lines and voids at full press speed, then issues bounded closed-loop moves, registration correction, ink-key/color adjustment and defect holds, to keep every impression on-register and on-brand.
Key features
Streaks, hickeys, voids and misregister caught at full press speed.
Inline ΔE-to-brand control keeps color inside brand tolerance every impression.
Ties defects back to plate, anilox, ink, substrate and setpoint.
Every job’s color record is captured for approved-vendor programs.

In the ecosystem
Chromata is the pressroom pillar. It consumes the board state from Corvex and feeds print-quality signals into makeready and downstream finishing.
Under the hood

| Stage | Printing |
| Autonomy modes | Shadow · Assist · Autonomous |
| Perception | Edge vision + sensor fusion at line speed |
| Control | Bounded closed-loop setpoint moves within approved limits |
| Primary NVIDIA HW | Jetson Orin / Thor · DGX · Cosmos |
| Digital twin | Twinflo (Omniverse) pre-run simulation |
Color drift used to mean a rerun and an awkward call with the brand owner. Now it’s corrected before it leaves the press.

Yes. Chromata deploys on one machine under the Line tier so you can measure a baseline, run in shadow mode, and switch on control as ROI proves out.
Foldeon is built for mixed fleets. Cross-vendor connectors integrate the machine, its PLC and your MES/OEE, no rip-and-replace.
You choose the autonomy level per workflow, shadow (recommend), assist (approve each move) or autonomous, and every decision is logged and auditable.
We’ll run Chromata in shadow mode against a real job and show the quality, waste and makeready curves.
