Why this stage is hard

The corrugator is the beating heart, and the biggest black art, of every plant. It glues fluted medium between linerboards at hundreds of meters per minute, where warp, washboarding, delamination and bond strength all hinge on precise steam, heat, glue, moisture and tension.

The autonomous corrugate-and-bond agent

Corvex fuses board caliper, moisture, temperature, tension, glue and steam telemetry with edge vision of warp, washboarding and delamination, predicts bond and crush strength in real time, then issues bounded closed-loop setpoint moves to hold warp-free, on-strength board across grades and humidity swings.

  • Real-time warp, washboarding and delamination perception at line speed
  • Predictive bond and edge and burst-crush strength per board lot and flute
  • Bounded steam, heat, glue, moisture and tension control with graduated autonomy
  • Humidity- and lot-adaptive recipe auto-tuning, pre-optimized via the twin

What Corvex does

Line-speed perception

Warp, washboarding and delamination sensed continuously, not spot-checked.

Strength prediction

Bond and edge and burst-crush strength estimated per board lot and flute profile.

Bounded control

Closed-loop steam, heat, glue, moisture and tension within operator-approved limits.

Craft memory

Captures what actually holds strength on each specific line and grade.

How it composes into the plant

Corvex is the board-making pillar. The board state it produces (strength, warp, moisture) feeds every downstream agent, from print to fold to stacking.

  • Shares the plant-edge data flywheel
  • Uses cross-vendor machine and MES connectors
  • Runs on the common Jetson, Triton and NIM fabric
  • Validated by the Twinflo digital twin before every run

Questions converters ask

Can we run Corvex on a single line first?

Yes. Corvex deploys on one machine under the Line tier so you can measure a baseline, run in shadow mode, and switch on control as ROI proves out.

Does it work with our existing machine and vendor?

Foldeon is built for mixed fleets. Cross-vendor connectors integrate the machine, its PLC and your MES and OEE systems, with no rip-and-replace.

How do operators stay in control?

You choose the autonomy level per workflow: shadow (recommend), assist (approve each move) or autonomous, and every decision is logged and auditable.
