Why this stage is hard

The folder-gluer is where a flat blank must become a square, sound box that pops up true, holds its strength and glues without skips or fishtails. It runs fast, and glue temperature and pattern, fold speed, blank squareness and tool alignment all drift with job, board and humidity.

The autonomous fold-and-glue agent

Edge vision plus glue-pattern and fold-geometry sensing detects skips, fishtails, misfolds, cracked scores and squareness errors at full speed, predicts glued-joint integrity, and issues bounded moves (fold speed, glue pattern and temperature, alignment) to hold sound, square, on-strength boxes while rejecting only true defects.

  • Full-speed skip, fishtail, misfold, cracked-score and squareness vision
  • Glue-pattern and glue-temperature sensing with joint-integrity prediction
  • Bounded closed-loop fold-speed, glue and alignment control
  • Fold makeready pre-optimization with per-job and per-board fold-recipe memory

What Gluvex does

Full-speed inspection

Skips, fishtails, misfolds and squareness errors caught at line speed.

Joint-integrity prediction

Glue pattern and temperature sensed to predict a sound glued joint.

Bounded control

Fold speed, glue and alignment adjusted within approved limits.

Accurate rejection

Rejects only true defects to protect yield and avoid over-rejection.

How it composes into the plant

Gluvex is the box-forming pillar. It consumes fold-readiness from Kreasa and hands sound, square boxes to Palvex for end-of-line handling.

  • Shares the plant-edge data flywheel
  • Uses cross-vendor machine and MES connectors
  • Runs on the common Jetson, Triton and NIM fabric
  • Validated by the Twinflo digital twin before every run

Questions converters ask

Can we run Gluvex on a single line first?

Yes. Gluvex deploys on one machine under the Line tier so you can measure a baseline, run in shadow mode, and switch on control as ROI proves out.

Does it work with our existing machine and vendor?

Foldeon is built for mixed fleets. Cross-vendor connectors integrate the machine, its PLC and your MES and OEE systems, with no rip-and-replace.

How do operators stay in control?

You choose the autonomy level per workflow: shadow (recommend), assist (approve each move) or autonomous, and every decision is logged and auditable.
